Bay Medical Names Officers for 2011 Board of Trustees
Bay Medical recently elected new board officers for 2011. Floyd Skinner will serve as chairman, Don Connor as vice chairman and James T. Cook III, MD, as secretary/treasurer. Board chair Floyd Skinner said he is honored to serve as chairman and looks forward to working with other board members in the coming year.
“We have a great community asset in Bay Medical and we want to continue working to keep the hospital strong,” says Skinner. “Healthcare is vital to the health and well-being not only of our citizens, but also to our local economy. It’s a very complex business, but we have a great team of board members who bring a wealth of experience.”
Skinner is president of Skinner Tax Consulting and has served on the board for 7 years. Connor serves as a part-time consultant for companies in the rail industry and most recently served as Vice Chairman at Rail Management. Connor has served on the board for 4 years. Cook is a retired cardiologist who is credited with beginning the heart program at Bay Medical and has served on the board for 5 years. Other board members include Greg Brudnicki, Andrew Stein, John Robert Middlemas, Merle Stringer, MD, Freida “Tink” Warren and Paul Hunt, MD.
