The program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs, an agency identified by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) as a nationally recognized accrediting agency for the accreditation of institutions and programs of nurse anesthesia at the certificate, master’s, or doctoral degree levels in the United States, its territories, and protectorates.

  • THIS PROGRAM CHOOSES TO NOT OBTAIN REGIONAL ACCREDITATION FROM THE SOUTHERN ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGES AND SCHOOLS (SACS). REGIONAL ACCREDITATION IS NOT REQUIRED BY THE COUNCIL ON ACCREDITATION (COA) OR THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (FDOE). WITHOUT GRADUATING FROM A REGIONALLY ACCREDITED PROGRAM, YOU MAY BE LIMITED IN YOUR CHOICE OF INSTITUTIONS, BUT NOT EXCLUDED FROM DOCTORAL LEVEL EDUCATION. YOU MAY BE LIMITED IN A SIMILAR MANNER FROM ACADEMIC POSITIONS. YOU WILL NOT BE LIMITED IN YOUR ABILITY TO BECOME AND PRACTICE AS A CERTIFIED REGISTERED NURSE ANESTHETIST.


Licensure
The Gooding Institute is licensed by the Florida Department of Education, Commission for Independent Education Independent Colleges and Universities to award a Master of Science graduate degree in Nurse Anesthesia.
