Safe Sitter Program
Do you have a son or daughter between the ages of 11 and 13? Are they interested in babysitting to earn extra money?
- Does your child know how to rescue a choking child?
- Can your child care for an injury requiring first aid?
- Could your child deal with a toddler’s behavior problems?
- Does your child know what to say if they had to call 911?
- Does your child know how to screen babysitting jobs to decide when to accept or refuse?
Safe Sitter Basic is a medically accurate program that teaches boys and girls ages 11-13 how to handle emergencies when caring for children. Safe Sitters learn these things while having fun!
When: Friday April 3, 2009 from 8:00am – 4:00pm.
Where: BMC Education Department at Baldwin Bay Med Plaza, 2905 Hwy 77, Class 4 & 5
Age: 11 - 13
Cost: $45, includes class materials, snacks and lunch
Application deadline: Tuesday March 31, 2009
Fee must be paid at time of registration, parental permission slip/ medical release required and student conduct form must be signed Payroll deduction available for BMC employees.
