Unique Golf Tournament This Weekend To Benefit Bay Medical Center

The Foundation of Bay Medical Center will hold the Third Annual Bay Medical Invitational Golf Classic this weekend, April 26 and 27, at the Bay Point Yacht and Country Club. This formal tournament has already become one of the most successful fundraisers of its kind in our area. With bagpipes playing, and participants in formal, traditional golf attire of knickers and kilts, this tournament is like no other. The shotgun start on Sunday is a spectacle that can not be missed.
The festivities will begin on Saturday with a Dinner and Dance at 30º Blue at 7:00pm, with the tournament on Sunday afternoon. The shotgun start will be at 12:30pm and the awards reception will be at 5:30pm at Club 19. The course will be open to spectators and supporters. The tournament itself is expected to raise over $70,000 for a new Bay Medical specialty care center opening on Panama City Beach. This new facility will offer diagnostic services, rehab and specialty care staffed by local physicians.
